I inherited a large sectional couch. My grandparents built it back in the 70s. Its about 9-10 cubes covered with foam and fabric. Very basic lines. You can put some of the pieces together and it makes a queen size bed. I am going to reupholster it. I need to buy a sewing machine that is simple enough for beginners, but heavy-duty enough to handle upholstery fabric.
Any ideas? I have looked at 2 machines, one is a very basic Brother and the other is somewhat basic, but it has a metal frame, by Singer. I've looked on other sites and they say different things. I need guidance!
